    Blockchain game Duckie Land lists on Indodax

    Duckie Land, an Indonesian created game which offers gameplay with the opportunity to profit through a non-fungible token (NFT) based platform and metaverse, officially listed on the Indodax today. Indodax is Indonesia's largest digital asset exchange and was previously known as Bitcoin Indonesia.

    Duckie Land’s listing shows how rapidly the blockchain industry ecosystem in Indonesia is growing. This is reflected in the number of digital works Indonesia has developed, such as metaverse games.

    Duckie is a multiplatform multiplayer online game where people can participate and earn reward tokens through skilful gameplay that runs on blockchain. Further, each Duckie is an NFT.

    Indodax CEO Oscar Darmawan fully supports Indonesian creativity in the blockchain industry, such as Duckie Land. Oscar describes Indodax as a leading and pioneer local crypto exchange native to Indonesia which will always support Indonesian blockchain developers, according to Detik Finance, Indonesia’s online news portal.

    “With the emergence of local developers, I am optimistic that in the future, Indonesia will not only be seen as an attractive market share but can become one of the countries with the largest blockchain industry ecosystem in the world,” he said on Thursday.

    Supporting local talent

    According to Oscar, the P2E blockchain industry is one of the emerging industries. “Through this Duckie Land project, we can show globally that Indonesia is also not inferior as a producer of quality games in Indonesia,” explained Oscar.

    On the same occasion, Duckie Land’s CEO, Febrian Pottanobu, said he was optimistic and hoped for the best. “The process is complete, and we, the Duckie Land team, wish you the best”.

    Recently, the Deputy Minister of Trade, Jerry Sambuaga, welcomed the development of the crypto industry in the country. “This is proof that creativity and technology can increase the utilisation of crypto-asset commodities,” said Jerry.

    CFDs attract overnight costs to hold the trades (unless you use 1-1 leverage), which makes them more suited to short-term trading opportunities. Stocks and commodities are more normally bought and held for longer. You might also pay a broker commission or fees when buying and selling assets direct and you’d need somewhere to store them safely.
