It aims to combine dog coins and football, but what is minifootball (MINIFOOTBALL)?

Let’s see what we can learn about this token – the latest meme coin to pay homage to dogecoin (DOGE) – and also take a look at some of the minifootball price predictions that were being made on 6 October 2022.

Minifootball explained

One of the most popular things in the world of cryptocurrency over the last two years or so have been dog coins. These tokens, also known as meme coins, are effectively tributes to DOGE, the crypto that launched as a parody of the very first crypto boom. Despite this, dogecoin ended up a major player in the world of blockchain finance.

While it could be argued that what we might describe as the second generation of dog coins, such as shiba inu (SHIB), were parodies of a parody, the ones that have come after that are pretty much parodies of parodies of a parody.

Regardless, there are a lot of dog coins out there, all trying to compete with one another and, while there is some debate regarding the actual utility of the tokens, there are enough of them to be considered an entire sector of cryptocurrency.

Something else that is just very popular across the world is association football. It was, perhaps, inevitable that someone would want to create a token that would appeal to the game’s supporters.

While there are some tokens out there that are designed for fans of a particular club, it could be argued that these fan tokens are not entirely suitable for people who do not support the team in question. Therefore, there was always that potential for a gap in the market for people who wanted to invest in a general football-related cryptocurrency.

Minifootball is one such token. This crypto is designed to appeal to both dog coin investors and football fans. The system is designed so that community members can take part in competitions, including weekly FIFA video game tournaments, on its Discord server.

The token also received attention when it appeared to gain the approval of a range of football stars – anyway, it managed to get some of them to do live online question and answer sessions – such as Brazilian world cup winner Ronaldinho and Spanish midfielder Denis Suarez.

The system’s transactions are subject to taxes, with 1% redistributed to other holders, 4% is split between helping the system to operate on Binance and liquidity pools, and 8% goes to a prize fund for competitions.

Because the minifootball crypto is based on the BNB Chain (BNB), formerly known as Binance Smart Chain, it is a token, rather than a coin. You might see references to such things as a minifootball coin price prediction, but these are, technically speaking, wrong.

Minifootball price history

Let’s now take a brief look at the minifootball price history. While past performance should never be taken as an indicator of future results, knowing what the crypto has done in the past can help give us some very useful context if we want to either make a minifootball price prediction of our own or else interpret one that is already there.

Minifootball started trading on the open market in August 2021, but it was not until early September that its price got big enough for it to be measured. It was worth $0.000000000091 on 13 September and it broke through $0.0000000001 a couple of days later before heading back down again.

In November, minifootball went on a boom phase, with it reaching a high of $0.000000000163 on 11 November, before it dropped down to close the year at $0.000000000028.

So far, 2022 has been a bad year for the cryptocurrency market as a whole, and it has not exactly been a good one for minifootball, either.

Although the token exploded in April to an all-time high of $0.000000003897 on 15 April, it soon sunk back down as the market fell following a series of crashes and reached a low of $0.000000000022 on 18 June. After that, there was some steady, halting recovery.

In October, though, following the announcement that it was in talks with Premier League and Serie A clubs, combined with the news that it was to launch its own game and would advertise at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, the price rallied.

On 6 October 2022, minifootball was worth about $0.000000000055. At that time, there were no statistics for the number of minifootball in circulation, although there was a total supply of 100 quadrillion. Therefore, we do not have any data relating to the token’s market cap.

Minifootball price prediction round-up

With that all out of the way, let’s take a look at some of the minifootball price predictions that were being made as of 6 October 2022. It is important to note here that price forecasts, especially for something as potentially volatile as cryptocurrency, very often turn out to be wrong. Also, long-term crypto price predictions are often made using an algorithm, which means that they can change at any time. Something that particular applies to MINIFOOTBALL is the fact that its very small value means that many price charts are unable to include the number of zeroes required for their forecasts, which means that there are fewer ones which have any practical use to them.

First, CoinArbitrageBot made a minifootball crypto price prediction that said the token could have traded at $0.000000000155 this year, $0.000000000277 next year and $0.000000000448 the year after that. The site then went on to make a minifootball price prediction for 2025 that suggested the token could have gone on to $0.000000000725.

Next, DigitalCoinPrice was unable to clearly report what it thought its minifootball price prediction was going to be for the rest of the decade. However, in its minifootball price prediction for 2030, it suggested that it could have achieved $0.00000000139 that year and $0.00000000188 in 2031.

Meanwhile, WalletInvestor was able to give a minifootball price prediction for 2022 that said the token could have closed the year at an average of 0.000000000013, down somewhat from current levels.

Finally, CryptoPredictions.com said minifootball could have closed 2022 at around $0.000000000038267, before it could have reached $0.000000000058393 in October 2023 and $0.000000000075174 a year later. By October 2025, the site said that the crypto could have stood at $0.000000000087069, then $0.000000000096212 12 months after that and could have closed 2026 at $0.000000000097554.

When considering a MiNIFOOTBALL token price prediction, it’s important to keep in mind that cryptocurrency markets remain extremely volatile, making it difficult to accurately predict what a coin or token’s price will be in a few hours, and even harder to give long-term estimates. As such, analysts and algorithm-based forecasters can and do get their predictions wrong.

If you are considering investing in cryptocurrency tokens, we recommend that you always do your own research. Look at the latest market trends, news, technical and fundamental analysis, and expert opinion before making any investment decision. Keep in mind that past performance is no guarantee of future returns. And never trade with money that you cannot afford to lose.

FAQs

Is minifootball a good investment?

It is difficult to say. The token exists in a rather crowded sector of the market, and it might be hard to see, other than a vague link to football, what it does that makes it stand out from other doge coins. The crypto’s lack of named founders might also put potential investors off, as could its incredibly low price, and it is difficult to find a practical utility for the cryptocurrency.

You should always carry out your own thorough research before making an investment decision, particularly in volatile markets such as the cryptocurrency sector. Even high market cap cryptocurrencies have proved vulnerable to bear markets. Whether the minifootball token is a suitable investment for you and your investment portfolio depends on your risk tolerance and how much you are prepared to invest. As past performance offers little certainty about future returns, be prepared to make losses and never purchase more than you can afford to lose.

Will minifootball go up or down?

It is hard to tell. While sites like CryptoPredictions.com are optimistic in its outlook for MINIFOOTBALL, the likes of WalletInvestor are rather more bearish. It is important to remember that price predictions often end up being wrong, and that prices can go down as well as up.

In volatile cryptocurrency markets, it is important to do your own research on a coin or token to determine if it is a good fit for your investment portfolio. Whether MINIFOOTBALL is a suitable investment for you depends on your risk tolerance and how much you intend to invest, among other factors. Keep in mind that past performance is no guarantee of future returns. And never invest money that you cannot afford to lose.

Should I invest in minifootball?

Minifootball is one of many dog coins and meme coins, with newer ones coming into circulation on the open market on a regular basis. With the token seemingly lacking much in the way of utility, you will need to carefully look into this particular sector before making up your mind about whether or not to make an investment.

Ultimately, though, this is a question that you will have to answer for yourself. Before you do so, you will need to conduct your own research and never invest more money than you can afford to lose because prices can go down as well as up.

The difference between trading assets and CFDs
The main difference between CFD trading and trading assets, such as commodities and stocks, is that you don’t own the underlying asset when you trade on a CFD.
You can still benefit if the market moves in your favour, or make a loss if it moves against you. However, with traditional trading you enter a contract to exchange the legal ownership of the individual shares or the commodities for money, and you own this until you sell it again.
CFDs are leveraged products, which means that you only need to deposit a percentage of the full value of the CFD trade in order to open a position. But with traditional trading, you buy the assets for the full amount. In the UK, there is no stamp duty on CFD trading, but there is when you buy stocks, for example.
CFDs attract overnight costs to hold the trades (unless you use 1-1 leverage), which makes them more suited to short-term trading opportunities. Stocks and commodities are more normally bought and held for longer. You might also pay a broker commission or fees when buying and selling assets direct and you’d need somewhere to store them safely.
