The Company’s segments include Health care distribution and Technology and value-added services. The Health care distribution segment distributes consumable products, laboratory products, equipment repair services, vaccines, surgical products, diagnostic tests, infection-control products and vitamins. Its global dental group serves office-based dental practitioners, dental laboratories, schools and other institutions, medical practitioners and ambulatory surgery centers. The Technology and value-added services segments provides software, technology and other value-added services to health care practitioners. It also offers practice management software systems for dental and medical practitioners. The Company's value-added practice solutions include financial services on a non-recourse basis, e-services, practice technology, network and hardware services.
