vTv Therapeutics Inc. è un'azienda farmaceutica in fase clinica impegnata nella scoperta e nello sviluppo di candidati farmaci a base di piccole molecole somministrate per via orale. Sta sviluppando un programma per il trattamento del diabete di tipo I TTP399 e per la psoriasi HPP737. TTP399 è un attivatore della glucochinasi (GKA) selettivo per il fegato, somministrato per via orale, in fase di sviluppo come potenziale antidiabetico orale per il trattamento del diabete di tipo I. TTP399 ha completato lo studio SimpliciT-I, una sperimentazione di Fase II in pazienti con diabete di tipo I come aggiunta alla terapia insulinica. L'azienda sta inoltre conducendo uno studio di Fase I a dosi multiple ascendenti di HPP737, un inibitore della fosfodiesterasi di tipo IV somministrato per via orale, per valutare la farmacocinetica, la farmacodinamica, la sicurezza e la tollerabilità di HPP737 in volontari sani nell'ambito del suo programma sulla psoriasi. TTP273 è un agonista orale di piccole dimensioni del recettore del peptide glucagone-simile I (GLP-1), in fase di valutazione per il trattamento del diabete mellito di tipo II.
