Intellidex

An Intellidex is an index with built-in stock-picking intelligence. This means it can weight certain criteria in an effort to create excess returns.

Where have you heard about Intellidex?

What you need to know about Intellidex.

They first appeared on the markets in 2003, and are based on the idea of an intelligent exchange-traded fund. This means they can be traded in the same way as normal listed or over-the-counter securities. An Intellidex is created by analysing certain stocks and deciding which ones to include in a portfolio. There are a number of different criteria options, for example an Intellidex could follow stocks to match a certain industry sector, investment strategy or risk level.
