Invesco QQQ Trust Company profile

Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks the NASDAQ-100 Index which includes 100 of the largest US-based and global nonfinancial companies listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market based on market capitalisation. 

The fund is rebalanced quarterly and reconstituted annually and its share price moves  in accordance to NASDAQ 100. 

Its prime function is to track the investment results of the NASDAQ 100 Index before fees and expenses by measuring its average performance. 

Invesco QQQ showcases underlying holdings from a number of sectors and industries including the tech, communication and consumer services, healthcare, consumer staples, industrial and utilities sectors. 

Dividends are paid out on a quarterly basis in the last business days of April, July, October and December. The fund also charges an expense ratio of 0.20% of the net asset value. 

It is managed by Invesco Ltd., an investment management company that specialises in managing investments across a range of asset classes, investment styles and geographies. Apart from Invesco QQQ, the firm manages a total of over 200 ETFs including a number of S&P 500 ETF funds, the Invesco DB Silver Fund and the Invesco DB Energy Fund.

The QQQ ETF is suitable for investors who are interested in long-term growth potential. In addition, the fund has high liquidity. 

The fund was launched on 10 March 1999 on the NASDAQ stock exchange.
