The Botswana Stock Exchange Domestic Company Index (BSE DCI) is the principal stock market index for those companies whose shares are listed exclusively on the Botswana exchange. As of the end of 2016, it comprised 23 different stocks.

Only companies with an exclusively Botswanan stock listing are eligible for inclusion in the BSE DCI. Among those on the index are local offshoots of internationally-known names, including Barclays Bank of Botswana, G4S Botswana and Standard Chartered Botswana. Elsewhere, there are Botswana Insurance, Botswana Telecommunications, First National Bank of Botswana and Sechaba Brewery Holdings. Real estate is well represented, including The Far Property Company, New African Properties and PrimeTime Property Holdings. In tourism, there is Wilderness Holdings, in wholesaling Sefalana Holding Company and in petroleum there is Engen Botswana. Finance is represented by Letshego Holdings. Aside from these main-board companies, there is one venture-capital listing, investment holding company Afinitas.
