The NYSE Arca Tech 100 Index is maintained by the New York Stock Exchange, however the index also lists stocks that trade on different exchanges different to the NYSE. The aim of the index is to provide a benchmark for measuring the performance of companies using technology innovation across a broad spectrum of industries. Leading companies listed on the index are selected from several industries including electronics, software, computer hardware, health care equipment, semiconductors and biotechnology.
