Several of the stocks listed on the NYSE Arca Major Market Index (or XMI or MMI) are also components of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), but surprisingly, despite what the name may suggest, all of the stocks - bar one (Microsoft Corporation) - trade on the New York Stock Exchange rather than the NYSE Arca Exchange. Futures on the index are traded on the Chicago Board of Trade, whilst options are traded on Amex and Euronext.
