SLR Investment Corp. is a closed-end, externally managed, non-diversified management investment company. The Company invests primarily in privately held United States middle-market companies. Its investment objective is to generate both current income and capital appreciation through debt and equity investments. It invests primarily in leveraged middle-market companies in the form of senior secured loans, financing leases, and to a lesser extent, unsecured loans and equity securities. It also invests directly in the debt and equity of public companies that are thinly traded and such investments will not be limited to any minimum or maximum market capitalization. In addition, it invests in foreign markets, including emerging markets. Its investments generally range between $ five million and $100 million each. It also invests a portion of its portfolio in other types of investments, such as opportunistic investments. The Company's investment manager is SLR Capital Partners, LLC.
