RISE Education Cayman Ltd is a holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, offers after-school English teaching and tutoring services to students aged three to 18. The Company operates in China’s junior English Language Training (ELT) market. Its offers three flagship courses, including Rise Start, Rise On and Rise Up, that are designed for students aged three to six, seven to twelve and 13 to 18, respectively. In addition to its flagship courses, the Company also offers short-term programs to its existing students as complementary services to its flagship courses.
BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2021, RISE Education Cayman Ltd (ADR) revenues increased 89% to RMB518.2M. Net loss decreased 52% to RMB77.3M. Revenues reflect Educational programs increase of 79% to RMB452.9M, Franchise revenues increase from RMB19M to RMB61.4M, Others increase from RMB1.5M to RMB3.9M. Lower net loss reflects Other income, net increase from RMB5.2M to RMB13.4M (income).
