Rambus Inc. is a provider of chips and intellectual property (IP) that enable performance improvements for data center and other markets. Its memory subsystems provide chips and IP, which provides security in data-intensive systems. Its DDR memory interface chips for registered, load-reduced and non-volatile dual in-line memory modules (RDIMM, LRDIMM and NVDIMM) provides capacity to the enterprise and cloud servers. It offers DDR5, DDR4 and DDR3 memory interface chips to enable memory capacity, while maintaining performance for data-intensive work loads. Its Silicon IP offers both Interface and Security IP solutions. Interface IP solutions feature both memory and chip-to-chip interconnect technologies. Security IP solutions include crypto cores, hardware roots of trust, speed protocol engines and chip provisioning technologies. It also offers a portfolio of physical interface (PHY) and companion digital controller through Northwest Logic, Inc. (Northwest Logic).
BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2021, Rambus Inc. revenues increased 33% to $328.3M. Net income totaled $18.3M vs. loss of $40.5M. Revenues reflect Royalty segment increase of 62% to $136.7M, Product Revenue segment increase of 26% to $143.9M, United States segment increase of 54% to $211.4M, Singapore segment increase of 42% to $39.8M.
