ProShares UltraPro QQQ Company profile
ProShares UltraPro QQQ (TQQQ) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that seeks to achieve a return before fees and expenses that is three times (3x) the return of the US Tech 100 Index for a single day, not for any other period.
A “single day” is measured from the time the Fund calculates its net asset value (NAV) to the time of the Fund’s next NAV calculation. The return of the Fund for periods more extended than a single day will be the result of its return for each day compounded over the period. The Fund’s returns for periods longer than a single day will very likely differ in amount and possibly even direction
Longer holding periods, higher Index volatility, and more leveraged exposure all amplify the impact of compounding on an investor’s returns.
The Fund, launched in 2010, invests principally in common stock issued by public companies; derivatives, including swap agreement and futures contract; and the money instrument market.
The Fund is managed by ProShares, a subsidiary of ProFund Group that provides a diverse mutual funds offering. ProShares, launched in 2006, specialises in an ETF with more than $60bn in assets.
