Beowulf provides electricity to the data centre from the Hardin plant. The data centre can deploy up to 30,000 S19 Pro Miners, generating 3.320 EH/s.
The company, which was founded in 2010, also owns 2,060 advanced ASIC bitcoin miners at a co-hosted facility in North Dakota. Marathon Digital plans to deploy 133,000 miners, expected to generate approximately 13.3 Exahash by mid-2022.
Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, the company became a publicly-traded company on 9 March 2011. The shares are traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol MARA.
