Founded in 2012, Lyft is a leading American on-demand transportation company. Operating as a peer-to-peer marketplace for ridesharing, it covers over 300 US cities, including New York and Los Angeles. Headquartered in San Francisco, California, Lyft company provides over 1 million rides on a daily basis. In 2017, Lyft expanded to Canada and became a major Uber competitor.
