The Company operates through three segments: North American Surface Transportation (NAST), Global Forwarding, and All Other and Corporate. NAST segment provides freight transportation services across North America through a network of offices in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Global Forwarding segment provides ocean freight services, air freight services and customs brokerage. All Other and Corporate segment includes its Robinson Fresh and Managed Services segments, as well as Other Surface Transportation outside of North America. Robinson Fresh provides sourcing services, including the buying, selling, marketing of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other perishable items. Managed Services provides transportation management services, or managed TMS.
BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2021, CH Robinson Worldwide Inc revenues increased 43% to $23.1B. Net income increased 67% to $844.2M. Revenues reflect Global Forwarding segment increase from $3.1B to $6.73B, North American Surface transportation segment increase of 28% to $14.51B, All Other and corporate segment increase of 4% to $1.86B, United States segment increase of 40% to $19.49B, other location segment increase of 56% to $3.61B.
