Blink Charging Co. (BLNK), manufactures public electric vehicle charging units and software. The company was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Florida.
Its main goal is to make electric vehicle charging more accessible, and play a part in reducing greenhouse gas emissions caused by transportation by designing, manufacturing and operating electric vehicles charging stations.
As of March 2022, Blink had deployed 23,000 charging stations. It offers a number of commercial and residential products that are available in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.
Blink charging stations can be found at a number of parking facilities, in residential and municipal areas, at workplaces, restaurants and airports.
In addition, the company also developed the Blink Network, a cloud-based system through which Blink customers can find the locations, availability and prices of Blink charging stations. The system can also process payments and has integrated reporting, which lets Blink clients know charging session details and revenue generated as well as greenhouse gases saved.
Blink has worked with a number of global businesses, including Marriott (MAR), Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) and McDonald’s (MCD).
The company went public on the Nasdaq stock exchange in February 2018, trading under the ticker BLNK.
