The Land segment engages in the determination of soil characteristics through cone penetration testing and/or the acquisition of geotechnical drilling and related laboratory testing. This segment also offers onshore and near shore services; material testing, and water and geo-consulting services; and integrity solutions, such as monitoring, analysis, and modelling for clients in the electrical power business, railroads, roads, and oil &and gas infrastructure. The Geoscience segment provides services to acquire geophysical data that are used for the appraisal, development, and production of offshore natural resources. Fugro N.V. was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Leidschendam, the Netherlands.
