Wynn Resorts (WYNN) is a US-based company that owns and operates high-end hotels and casinos.
The company, which is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, runs four major resort destinations, including Wynn Las Vegas, Encore Boston Harbor, Wynn Macau, and Wynn Palace, Cotai.
Wynn and Encore Las Vegas are two hotel towers with 4,748 hotel rooms, suites and villas, approximately 194,000 square feet of casino space, retail space, rentable meeting and convention space, two nightclubs, spas, a beach club and leisure facilities.
A luxury resort destination Encore Boston Harbor includes a casino, 671 hotel rooms, spa facilities, multiple dining and lounge spaces, ballrooms and meeting rooms.
A luxury hotel and casino, Wynn Macau, is built in the Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. It has two hotel towers with a total of 1,010 spacious rooms and suites. Another resort in Macau, Wynn Palace, is designed as a floral-themed destination. It offers 1,706 rooms, suites and villas and almost 424,000 square feet of casino space.
Mirage Resorts chairman and CEO Steve Wynn established the company in 2002.
Shares of Wynn Resorts trade on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol WYNN. The stock is a part of the S&P 500 Index (US500). The company’s initial public offering took place on 25 October 2002, offering 34.62 million common shares priced at $13 per share under its IPO.
Wynn Resorts paid dividends four times a year from 2011 till 2019. Its dividends declared before 2011 have varied in frequency. It paid its last dividend on 25 February 2022 and has not declared a dividend since then, as of July 2022. The company’s financial year lasts from 1 January to 31 December.
