What is the Volkswagen Group?
The Volkswagen Group (VOW3), established by the German government in 1937, is currently one of the world’s leading car manufacturers with headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany. This is the largest carmaker in Europe, producing approximately 22% of the new cars that originate in Western Europe.
The group holds 120 production facilities in 20 European countries and another 11 countries in Asia, Africa and the Americas. Volkswagen share price can be found in the several biggest European indices.
The Volkswagen Group employs approximately 645,000 staff members worldwide who deliver vehicles to customers in 153 countries globally.

Volkswagen Passenger Cars: the brand is one of the most successful volume automobile producers, delivering cars in more than 150 countries. Volkswagen maintains facilities in 14 nations.

Audi: having been part of the group since 1965, Audi is a global producer of premium cars, operating in more than 100 markets.

SEAT: this is a Spanish carmaker that develops and manufactures automobiles and components at its production facilities in Barcelona, El Prat and Martorell. SEAT joined the group in 1986.

ŠKODA: the Czech brand joined the group in 1991. It manufactures ’Simply Clever‘ cars across a portfolio of 7 passenger car model series.

Bentley: the company, which has been a Volkswagen Group member since 1998,designs and manufactures luxury cars (Mulsanne, the Bentayga, Flying Spur and Continental).

Bugatti: originally a French company, Bugatti is the legendary manufacturer of luxury cars, which became part of the Volkswagen Group in 1998.

Lamborghini: the Italian producer of world-famous sports cars (for example, Huracán and Aventador) joined the group in 1998.

Porsche: another large manufacturer of famous high performance sports cars, which originated in Germany and joined the Volkswagen Group in 2012. Current models include the Porsche 911, 718 Cayman, 718 Boxster, Cayenne, Panamera and Macan.

Ducati: produces top-of-the-range motorcycles. It is headquartered in Bologna, Italy. The motorcycle brand has been part of the group since 2012.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles: within the group, the brand is responsible for developing, manufacturing and delivering light commercial vehicles to customers all over the world.

Scania: a Swedish producer of commercial vehicles (heavy trucks, buses and engines). It has been a group member since 2008.

MAN: is a German provider of trucks, vans, buses, diesel engines, special gear units and turbomachinery.
In addition, the Volkswagen Group provides financial services, including banking and insurance, customer and dealer financing, leasing, and fleet management.
