The Company's principal activities are grocery retailing and the development and monetization of Intellectual Property (IP) and technology used for online grocery retailing, fulfilment, logistics and services in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, Australia and Japan. Its segments include Retail, UK Solutions & Logistics and International Solutions. The Retail segment provides online grocery and general merchandise offerings to customers within the United Kingdom, and comprises the Ocado Retail joint venture. The UK Solutions & Logistics segment provides the IT platform, CFCs and logistics for customers in the United Kingdom. The International Solutions segment provides end-to-end online retail solutions to corporate customers outside the United Kingdom. BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 28 November 2021, Ocado Group PLC revenues increased 7% to £2.5B. Net loss increased 66% to £223.2M. Revenues reflect Retail segment increase of 5% to £2.29B, Online Sales, Total increase of 5% to £2.29B. Higher net loss reflects Administrative expenses - Balancing valu increase of 55% to £567.3M (expense). Basic Earnings per Share excluding Extraordinary Items decreased from -£0.19 to -£0.30.
