In September 2017, ElectraMeccanica went public on the Nasdaq trading under the ticker SOLO.
The operational segments of the company can be divided into two parts, electric vehicles and custom-build vehicles. The company’s flagship vehicle, SOLO, is a three-wheeled, single-seater car with a 100-mile range and top speed of 80mph.

The model features power steering and brakes, front and rear crumple zones, roll bar, side-impact protection, air conditioning and Bluetooth entertainment system, which makes it attractive to solo travelers.
SOLO was tagged as one of the “coolest new cars” by Forbes in 2020 and is listed along with world-famous brands like Aston Martin, Cadillac and Tesla. Besides SOLO, ElectraMeccanica also develops an all-electric two-seater electric roadster sports car called Tofino.
The company currently sells its vehicles online and through 17 retail locations across the globe. It conducts regular pilot tests for commercial use as well as for use in global compliance testing, including crash tests.
