CrowdStrike Company profile

CrowdStrike Holdings (CRWD) provides endpoint protection, threat intelligence and cyber attack response services. The company was established in 2011 in Austin, Texas. It primarily sells subscriptions to cloud modules and the Falcon platform, which detects threats and stops breaches. 

Its cloud-based environment can run on a variety of endpoints such as laptops, desktops, servers, virtual machines and internet of things (IoT) devices.

The company has adopted a channel-centric sales model supported by a direct sales team. This approach facilitates the client acquisition process, improves account coordination and develops sales and the overall market. The pitch is set for Falcon Bundle products: Falcon Pro, Falcon Enterprise, Falcon Elite and Falcon Complete. 

As of March 2022, the Falcon platform had 22 modules. It’s implemented via a single endpoint agent and cloud-based management console. Classified into four major segments – Endpoint & ID Security, Security & IT Operations, Threat Intelligence and Cloud Security – the modules are redefining security for the cloud era. 

CrowdStrike partners with several well-known companies, including International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), Infosys Limited (INFY) and Alphabet Inc. (GOOG).

The company went public in June 2019, taking on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ‘CRWD’.
