It hit the spotlight with its smartphones but its range of products has spread across mobile apps, laptops, and related consumer electronics. It currently employs over 15,000 people over two continents and seven different countries. Xiaomi shares have been hitting the headlines since 9 July, when the tech giant held its IPO ceremony in Hong-Kong. The Chinese company had a weak debut but has since managed to regain terrain.
