Vontobel drops on disappointing Q3 net new money, lower-than-expected assets under management

By Reuters News

** Shares in Vontobel VONN.S drop 4.8% as the Swiss bank's third-quarter figures came in weaker than expected

** "Net new money (NNM) in both segments is disappointing," Zuercher Kantonalbank says, noting Q3 net new money of -0.6 billion Swiss francs missed both its own forecast of 0.6 billion francs and the consensus estimate

** "Furthermore, the market-driven increase in assets under management (AuM) during the third quarter of 2026 appears to have been lower than we anticipated," the brokerage adds

** Assets under management rose about 1% quarter-on-quarter to 255 billion francs, missing both ZKB's 260 billion francs forecast and the 257 billion francs market consensus

** Up to the previous session's close, shares were up 42.1% YTD.
