Cucinelli rises after outlook hike

By Reuters News

** Shares in Italy's Brunello Cucinelli BCU.MI are up around 3% after the luxury firm posted a Q3 sales beat and raised its 2026 outlook

** JPMorgan says the beat was driven by strong direct-to consumer (DTC) performance

** The beat makes Cucinelli "a clear share gainer in a quarter when we expect most to confirm the pain of an incrementally challenged Chinese consumer," Jefferies adds in a note

** Cucinelli upgraded its FY 2026 revenue growth outlook to around 12% at constant FX, while continuing to forecast 10% growth in 2027

** "FY27E guidance provides a rare degree of forward visibility, which is increasingly scarce and differentiating in luxury," RBC says

** Excluding Friday's gains, the stock is down around 15% YTD
