Monte Safieddine

Monte Safieddine is the Head of Research at Capital.com, and publishes the Daily Market Report which covers sentiment and technicals for 28 popular markets, and is available in eleven languages. He also created the Weekly Sentiment Report which maps both client and institutional sentiment for traders that are interested in where market participants stand. Monte also co-hosts the live show Coffee Club with Christopher Demetriou.

Experience

Monte’s career began as an economics lecturer before shifting to finance over a decade ago in roles that primarily dealt with analysis and strategy. He spent over five years at IG before joining Capital.com in 2025. Monte is a regular contributor to the region’s media heavyweights including Asharq Bloomberg and Sky News Arabia. 

Education

Monte has a Masters degree in Economics from Waye State University where he lectured undergraduate students.
