OVHcloud rises on AI firm acquisition

** Shares in datacentre operator OVHcloud OVH.PA rise around 3%, after it entered exclusive talks to acquire AI speech-to-text provider Gladia

** "With the announced acquisition of Gladia and the acquisition of Dragon LLM, OVH continues to strengthen its AI strategy by bringing differentiated technology components in-house", TP ICAP analyst Veneta Nikolova says in a note

** The brokerage upgraded its forecasts for the French firm, believing that recent price hikes make a "reacceleration" in growth more credible

** "We expect revenue growth in third quarter 2026 to accelerate versus the first half", the analysts say

** In April, OVH reported 555 million euros ($641.58 million)of first-half revenues, representing a 5.5% organic growth

** Up to the previous session's close, shares were up 106.4%​ YTD
