Milan, November 3, 2026 – With the signing today of the deed of merger by incorporation of

UniCredit Vita Assicurazioni S.p.A. into UniCredit Life Insurance S.p.A., the internalisation of the

life insurance business within the UniCredit Group has been formally completed. The process began in

June 2025 with the acquisition of 100% of the two life insurance joint ventures from CNP Assurances

and Allianz.

The merger creates a strong and efficient company offering advanced and competitive insurance

solutions. Leveraging the financial expertise of the UniCredit Group, it will enable UniCredit's

consultants to meet their clients' full range of savings and protection needs.

Alessandro Santoliquido, Global Head of Group Insurance at UniCredit and Chief Executive Officer of

UniCredit Life Insurance, commented: "The merger marks the completion of an important industrial

journey and the beginning of a new phase of development for UniCredit's insurance business. With

€46 billion in reserves and €9 billion in premiums in 2025 (1), the new company ranks among the

leading players in the Italian life insurance market. Our objective is to build an increasingly

efficient, innovative and customer-oriented business, capable of offering a broad range of solutions

through UniCredit's distribution network. To support this journey, we intend to invest significantly
