Poland - Factors to Watch September 30

INFLATION

On Wednesday, the Statistical Office will release preliminary data on inflation in Poland for September. Analysts polled by Reuters expect the pace of price growth to have accelerated to 4.1% year-on-year from 3.4% in August.


STATE BUDGET

The Polish government adopted its 2027 budget on Thursday, assuming economic growth will slow to 3% next year from an expected 3.6% this year, the finance minister said.

Poland expects to have a general government debt to GDP ratio of 69.3% in 2027, up from 67.6% in 2026, the Finance Ministry said on Tuesday, citing its debt management strategy for 2027-2030.


DEBT

On Wednesday, the Polish Ministry of Finance will publish the planned value of the debt to be offered in the fourth quarter.


RYANAIR

Ryanair RYA.I CEO Michael O'Leary said on Tuesday that he hoped an announced delay in certification of Boeing MAX 10 planes would be "a matter of days, not weeks or months".


ARMS EXPORTS

In 2025, Polish companies sold arms abroad worth 2.5 billion euros ($2.83 billion), compared to 3.1 billion euros in 2024, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported, citing data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
