SMALL REACTOR DEAL
Poland's Synthos Green Energy (SGE), which holds the rights to GE Vernova Hitachi's technology for small modular nuclear reactors, has reached a deal with Orlen PKN.WA on a joint small modular nuclear reactor project, company founder Michal Solowow told a conference in Warsaw on Wednesday.
PMI
On Thursday at 0700, the S&P Global Poland Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for Poland will be released. Analysts surveyed by Reuters estimate that the PMI index rose to 48.9 in September compared to a 48.3 reading for August.
INFLATION
Polish inflation accelerated above a upper limit of the central bank's target range in September, data published on Wednesday showed, driven primarily due to rising crude oil prices, increasing pressure on the central bank to consider tightening monetary policy.
