IG Metall calls Volkswagen wage deal terminations a 'gross foul'
FRANKFURT, Sept 30 (Reuters) - German trade union IG Metall said on Wednesday that Volkswagen's VOWG.DE termination of several collective bargaining agreements amounts to a "gross foul" that would not be accepted.
The carmaker said earlier it had triggered the review clause in its future wage agreement with IG Metall and would terminate various agreements with effect from December 31, 2026, to secure room for staff reductions.
