ExxonMobil, TotalEnergies emerge as winners of Brazil spot oil auction

- Brazilian state-run oil company PPSA sold 2 million barrels of oil in a spot auction in which ExxonMobil XOM.N and TotalEnergies TTEF.PA emerged as winners, it said on Thursday.

ExxonMobil acquired about 1 million barrels from the Bacalhau field, while TotalEnergies secured a similar volume from the Buzios field, PPSA said. Other lots totaling 4 million barrels were not sold and are set to be auctioned again next week.
