Australia shares poised to open higher, NZ slips
Sept 29 (Reuters) - Australian shares are expected to edge higher on Tuesday, with energy stocks likely to track firmer oil prices ahead of the central bank's policy decision, where markets widely expect a fourth rate hike this year.
The local share price index futures rose 0.2%, a 70-point premium to the underlying S&P/ASX 200 index .AXJO close. The benchmark gained 0.2% on Monday.
New Zealand's benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index .NZ50 lost 0.3% in early trade.
