Tiptree Inc. is a holding company. The Company through its subsidiary provides specialty insurance underwriting, warranty and service contract products, and related service solutions. The Company operates through two segments: Insurance and Mortgage segment. The insurance segment operations are conducted through Fortegra, which is a provider of specialty insurance underwriting, warranty and service contract products and related service solutions. The mortgage segment operations are conducted through Reliance, which originates residential mortgage loans which are typically sold to secondary market investors. Its Tiptree Capital consists primarily of investments in shares of Invesque, maritime transportation and mortgage origination operations.

Net income applicable to common stockholders excluding extraordinary items totaled $37.4M vs. loss of $36.5M. Revenues reflect Tiptree Insurance segment increase of 42% to $984.1M.
