Potbelly Corporation (Potbelly) is a sandwich concept that offers its customers with customized menu items. The Company owns and operates Potbelly Sandwich Shop concepts in the United States. The Company also has domestic franchise operations of Potbelly Sandwich Shop concepts. The Company through its subsidiaries, owns and operates approximately 398 Company-owned shops in Alaska, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Additionally, Potbelly franchisees operate approximately 45 shops in the United States. The Company's menu includes sandwiches, salads, soups, chili, sides, desserts and, in its breakfast locations, breakfast sandwiches and steel cut oatmeal.
