The company was founded in 1993, but only began operating as a low-cost carrier in 2002, with its bigger Boeing 737 aircraft. Today, it is one of the world's fastest growing airlines. The company is constantly introducing brand new aircraft to its fleet, as well as launching new routes and establishing new bases in Europe, Asia and the US. The airline is known for its distinctive livery of white with a red nose, with portraits of distinguished Scandinavians on the tail fins of its aircraft.
