DocuSign is a cloud-based software company that provides electronic signature services. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, US and is listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ‘DOCU’.

The company was formed in 2003 and has pioneered the development of e-signature technology. DocuSign helps organisations connect and automate preparation, signing and management of agreements. The company offers eSignature as a part of the DocuSign Agreement Cloud.

DocuSign’s platform has more than 350 pre-built integrations with third-party business apps and its software can connect to customers’ websites, mobile apps and custom workflows. According to its website, DocuSign has over one billion paying customers, many of whom are Fortune 500 companies, federal, state and local government agencies.

DocuSign’s Agreement Cloud solution streamlines contracts and brings all contract processes together. DocuSign Insight uses artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to analyse agreements and uncover risks and hidden opportunities in contracts.

The company also provides electronic notarisation services to sign and notarise critical agreements remotely. Docusign’s Contract Lifecycle Management product helps customers organise, automate, customise and analyse contract work. DocuSign Payments adds payment features to online contact agreements. DocuSign Click enables users to capture consent to agreement terms such as terms of service and privacy policies with a single click.
