Fidelity China Special Situations Company profile
Fidelity China Special Situations PLC (FCSS) is a large investment trust headquartered in the UK. It targets long-term investments in the Asian region (China in particular). The company’s portfolio includes over 100 investments and provides its clients with great exposure to the Chinese market. Its main objective is to achieve long-term capital growth from an actively managed portfolio that consists of securities issued by companies listed in Hong Kong and China and Chinese companies listed elsewhere. The fund also invests in listed companies with interests in China and Hong Kong through equities, equity-related securities, index-linked, equity-linked and other debt securities, foreign currency exchange transactions, money market instruments, cash deposits, forward transactions and other interests, including derivative instruments. Founded in 2010, the Fidelity China share price is included in the FTSE 250 Index and listed on the London Stock Exchange.
