** VVV says it increased share repurchase authorization by $175 mln to $500 mln

** Co says it expects to resume share repurchases following release of its fiscal year results; repurchase authorization has no expiration date

** VVV has roughly $3.8 bln market cap

** With the advance, VVV stock has shed ~25% over the past three months, leaving it up 1.7% YTD. S&P 400 Automotive Retail index .SPMDCAUTR up ~4% in 2026

** 13 of 18 analysts rate the stock rate "strong buy" or "buy", 5 "hold"; median PT $45, per LSEG data
