Vækstaktier.dk: SMS secures new sale to US customer

By Modular Finance

Scandinavian Medical Solutions has completed a new sale and installation of a CT scanner to a US customer.

Scandinavian Medical Solutions has completed the sale of a CT scanner that represents the latest generation of CT technology and is among the most advanced systems in GE HealthCare’s product portfolio. The system is designed for a broad range of clinical applications and combines high image quality, advanced AI features and fast scan times to optimise both diagnostics and the patient pathway.

The customer has also ordered installation of the system from Scandinavian Medical Solutions, as was the case with last week’s sale in the US market. The company’s ability to deliver the system as a complete turnkey solution, with installation handled by its strategic partners, reflects its continued focus on strengthening its offering within used diagnostic imaging equipment and on delivering solutions that meet the needs of different markets.

The deal also illustrates how new customer relationships can quickly develop into repeat business. Scandinavian Medical Solutions has demonstrated strong delivery capabilities and a collaborative approach, which led the customer to invest in another system from SMS shortly after the first delivery.

The sale is in the range of DKK 2.0–3.5 million, bringing the total value of orders announced by the company in the current financial year to DKK 45.5–72.5 million. The order does not change the company’s guidance, which calls for revenue of DKK 155–175 million and negative EBITDA of DKK 9–13 million.
