STATE BUDGET

On Tuesday, the Polish government is expected to adopt the draft budget act for 2027 and its debt management strategy.

Poland expects its general government deficit to remain unchanged at 7.1% of GDP in 2027 — the same level currently projected for this year - driven by record deliveries of military equipment.

PUBLIC SPENDING

Poland has no room to increase public spending ahead of next year's election, Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski said, describing fiscal policy as a challenge for the government, Bloomberg reported.

INTEREST RATES

Polish CPI in September may reach around 4%, rate-setter Ludwik Kotecki told TVN24 on Monday evening, adding that this could prompt the Monetary Policy Council to start discussions about rising interest rates, with a decision possible in November after publication of the central bank's new forecasts.

PGE PGE.WA

The updated strategy of Polska Grupa Energetyczna (PGE) PGE.WA through 2035 will be presented in mid-October, Parkiet daily reported.
