North Sea Crude-WTI trades lower

- Differentials for U.S. WTI Midland delivered to Europe narrowed on Monday as two cargoes traded.

  • WTI Midland: Vitol bought an October 16 to 20 cargo from Glencore at dated Brent plus $17 CIF Rotterdam, and TotalEnergies bought an October 21 to 25 cargo from Occidental at dated plus $17.30 CIF Rotterdam.

  • The midpoint of the day's deals, dated plus $17.15 CIF, equated to a $14.79 premium to dated Brent on a FOB basis, Reuters calculations showed.

  • On Friday, Vitol bought WTI cargoes at $17.30 and $18.30.

  • Troll: Trafigura bid for an October 14 to 16 cargo at dated Brent plus $18.65 FOB Mongstad.
