EUROPE BEFORE THE BELL: FUTURES STEADY AFTER NASDAQ'S 3% JUMP

European stock index futures are hovering close to unchanged on Tuesday, after an AI-driven rally in stocks on Monday.

Euro STOXX 50 futures are up under 0.1% on Tuesday after the index rose 1.3% the day before.

Futures on the DAX and CAC are flat, while FTSE futures are up about 0.2%.

Markets have steadied after a strong performance the day before, helped by the surging popularity of Meta's AI agent Muse, which has reignited optimism over the AI trade.

"Tech stocks led the rally in equities with the success of Meta's AI agent arguing for increased demand for semiconductors," said Jefferies economist Mohit Kumar.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 .NDX rose almost 3% on Monday, its biggest daily rise since early August.

Attention is also on oil prices, which have risen slightly after falling for four straight days. Brent crude futures are back above $102 per barrel after briefly dropping back below $100 on Monday.
