Jordan tenders to buy up to 120,000 metric tons feed barley, traders say

HAMBURG, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Jordan's state grains buyer has issued an international tender to purchase up to 120,000 metric tons of animal feed barley, European traders said on Thursday.

• The deadline for submission of price offers in the tender is October 21

• A new tender was anticipated by traders after Jordan purchased 60,000 tons in its previous tender for 120,000 tons of barley on Wednesday GRA/TEND

• The new tender seeks shipment periods in various combinations in 50,000 to 60,000 ton consignments in 2027 between January 1 and 15, January 16 and 31, February 1 and 14 plus February 15 and 28, traders said. These are the same periods as sought in Wednesday’s tender

• Jordan has also issued a separate tender to buy 120,000 tons of milling wheat closing on October 20
