- STOCKS:

The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN fell 0.24% to 74,598, and the broader NSE Nifty 50 .NSEI dropped 0.28% to 23,309 as concerns over elevated oil prices and global bond yields ahead of this week's Federal Reserve meeting overshadowed gains in IT stocks and the country's largest private lender, HDFC Bank. .BO


RUPEE:

The Indian rupee declined 0.38% versus the U.S. dollar to 95.91, weighed down by the same sticking points seen in recent sessions, a persistent oil rally fuelling inflation worries and lifting U.S. yields. INR/


GOVERNMENT BONDS:

The benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 98.9475 rupees, with the yield up 7 bps at 7.0906%, as the central bank's planned open-market sales added to pressure from higher inflation and global rate concerns. IN/


OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:

The one-year overnight index swap rate was up 7 basis points at 6.10%, while the five-year swap rate rose 10.25 bps to 6.6725%.


CALL MONEY:

India's overnight call money rate was at 4.95%, and the overnight TREPS rate was at 4.92%
