ICE October raw sugar delivery seen at 1.45 million metric tons, traders say

- Deliveries of raw sugar on the expiry of the October contract on ICE exchange were seen at 28,574 lots, or 1.45 million metric tons, according to preliminary information from two sugar traders on Wednesday, when the contract expired.

Singapore-based commodities trader Wilmar International WLIL.SI was said to be the sole receiver of all that sugar, while Brazilian commodities trader BTG Pactual Commodities was seen as the largest deliverer with 9,267 lots, or 470,790 tons.

ICE will release official data on the delivery on Thursday.
