** The pharmaceuticals manufacturer says it has initiated the Phase Ia part of a global clinical trial of HMPL-A830 in patients with unresectable, advanced or metastatic solid tumors

** HUTCHMED says its unit, on September 3, entered into an exclusive development and license agreement with a GSK plc unit, granting the GSK unit worldwide rights to develop and commercialize HMPL-A830 with HUTCHMED responsible for the global Phase І development program of HMPL-A830

** YTD, Hong Kong stock up 7.5%, Hang Seng Biotech Index .HSBIO up 11.6%
