Engie hopes momentum rebuilds for energy projects in US after elections

PARIS, Nov 5 (Reuters) - There was a slowdown in momentum in the United States for data centre and energy projects ahead of the midterm elections, and now it is up to the newly elected to determine what happens next, French utility Engie ENGIE.PA CEO Catherine Macgregor said on Thursday.

"Hopefully we can see permitting resuming (for projects), but we'll have to see as it is a bit early to say," Macgregor told analysts.
