By Reuters News

- Dulux paint maker Akzo Nobel AKZO.AS reported a 4% organic rise in its third-quarter core profit on Wednesday, slightly above market expectations, supported by higher pricing and its ongoing cost cutting plan.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) came in at €388 million ($435.53 million) for the quarter, up from €385 million a year ago. That beat analysts' consensus of €387 million provided by the company.
